Not bad really cheap

This season has been problematic for all county courses because of excessive rain. However, I booked a tee time for white/blue for today, 9/16/11, at 2:40 with the impression I'd be able to complete 18 holes before it got too dark to play. When I arrived at 2:00 I was told that only 18 holes were in play and our tee time would be delayed. Apparently the course accepted tee times for both white/blue and red/gold knowing that just 18 holes would be available. We teed off at about 3:15 and it took until 5:45 for me and my playing partner to finish the first nine holes, at which point we decided to stop playing. I was charged for the round but there was no way I could have completed the entire round before nightfall even if I had continued past the first 9 holes, so it is my impression that the course is charging golfers for a service (18 holes of play) that they know they cannot deliver, in all cases. The county course management should not have over booked tee times at this course that they knew they could not honor as requested. It will be a long time before I will venture onto Flanders Valley courses again. Shame on you people for taking money for services you knew you could not deliver.

This place is a dog track. Fairways are burnt and full of disease. Do not play days after rain. Horrible drainage and greens are too slow! I got charged full price and the golf course was the worse I have seen in NJ. Wish I could have known but now you do!!!! Go somewhere else and FAST!!!
