Play this only if you're really desperate

This is a course to play if you're in the area, absolutely have to play golf somewhere, and can't get on anywhere else. Most of the greens are pretty beat up and the fairways are mix of acceptable and ratty. The general layout and design of the holes is pretty good, but the poor level of maintenance has taken what could be a fun place to play and turned it into something to avoid. If someone sank some money into reviving the course's conditions it would be worth a visit, but I doubt that there'd be enough support from people who do play it for the higher green fees that would be needed to get it in shape and keep it that way.
