This is what a golf course is supposed to be. Ross lets the greens defend themselves. No gimmicks. He also gives you alot of options around the greens. Definitely get a caddie. These greens are fast and have some crazy breaks.Worth every penny.

This is one of those courses you play to say that you played it. Do not expect to play well, and do not expect to remember a single hole after you have finished. While the course is immaculately kept, and the greens are faster than the cars in the Daytona 500 it is otherwise a forgettable track. You will find that no hole has the feel that it takes your breath away, but you will not feel like any hole is poorly designed either. If you get the chance play with the caddie, but think for yourself on the greens, the caddy I had twice told me that the putt I was looking at would break uphill. Enjoy the ambiance take advantage of the range but don't expect the course itself to wow you.
You have to play it once but that is enough. Enjoy the the round with a caddie! Soak it all in out side after the round with a cool drink. # 4 was also a great experience. If you have the time, go down the road a ways to Tobacco Road G.C. WOW!
