Great value to be a member! This course has 0 initiation fee, and membership is less than $2000/year for the family, including unlimited range balls! The new greens superintendent has done an outstanding job, with course conditioning at its' absolute best ever! The L93 bentgrass greens are smooth and true, and during the mild spring and fall, run well into the 10-11 range. This, combined with the greens' shape, multiple tiers, and surrounding hazards, requires the better player to play not to the middle of the green, but to the correct tier of the green, always trying to be below the hole, even if it means aiming for a spot past the pin.

pitmasterI have played this course many times and it never ceases to amaze me at the beauty and the aggressiveness of MCCC. Absolutely the best professional staff in coastal Carolina. Also it doesn't hurt if Curtis Strange is a member here also. The most perfect hole is no. 18. Apar 5 that is very demanding, but don't let the scenery of the river catch you peeking or in the tall grass you go.
