Beautiful Course! Wonderful lay-out. Very player-friendly. A must play.
Handicap: -- | Average: -- | Rating:
Fairly open course with side-by-side fairways which is not too hilly for a course in the North Carolina mountains. Water comes into play on most holes and a shot in the rough on the sides of the fairway could well have tree trouble. It is a fair course with straight-forward, medium-sized greens, and since it is built on the remains of an old pasture, it is not particularly scenic except for hole #2, a short par 3. This hole is tucked into a lush rhododendren-filled hollow and the tee shot must carry a creek which plunges over a natural waterfall just behind the green. It may well be the most appealing view from any tee in golf.
