The 9-hole "Overland" course at the Overland Golf Course facility in Big Timber, Montana features 3,407 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Max Mueller, the Overland golf course opened in 1977.
Even though it is only 9 seperate holes, the seperate tee boxes give enough difference to make it seem as if you are playing a full 18. The maintenance on the course is outstanding even with a few soggy spots mostly short of the green. Greens are very fair and consistant. Rates are outstanding considering there is only a 4-6 month season. Lots of water and very tall grass off the fairways on many holes, but also many ways to attack the course. I shot roughly around a 91 (18 handicap). Make sure you get a hotdog on the turn.
