Shirkey is the nicest golf course you will find in the area. A true test to every part of your game. Lots of trees, sand, and water to manuever. You have to hit it straight to be successful on this course. Also the greens are lightning so put an emphasis on controlling the speed of your putts. This course is in great shape, the layout is nice, and the greens roll true. I really can''t think of anything I did not like. This course is what Excelsior Springs Golf course could be. I will definitely be back to this course in the near future for redemption.
