Silver King Golf Club

this course is not a great course but its not a bad course either. the fairways are healthy and the greens were terrific, i got good roll and the lines held true. those were the key points. on the flip side of the coins the maintenance could do better. there are several unrepaired divots in the fairways and on the greens. i know that as players we need to do our part on upkeep but the grounds crew must pick our slack. ppl seem to drag their feet alot when walking on the greens because they leave the scuff marks behind if you know what i m saying. i will come and play here again but only if i m meeting friends to play not by choice. although the rates are very good, for just a couple more bucks there are a few other places i d rather go, and get to drink a beer or two when done to cool down. 2.5 stars.

please ignore Goodnewsdoc's novel, he has obviously never played here. this course owns! i shot a 67 here, i am the best golfer alive

A surprisenly nice course for the sorta out of the way location, fairways and greens in fairly good condition, very nice employees, and the rangers go out of their way too please. I was offered a cold towel out on the course. But would like too be able to take a cooler, and have a cold drink, not really care for the alcohol, but think that it should be accepted, like most courses. Think that the course is trying too be too ritzy and picky for such a mediocre course. Come on owners, let the golfers have their coolers are sell them a cool beer like most courses. You would be surprised at the golfers that you would bring in. And I don't even drink. But I golf twice a week at Silver King and really enjoy outings with my buddies.
