- Great course overall for the value.- They give $10 off for military personnel, which is pimp.- The fairways and greens are well kept.- Courteous staff.- Delicious homemade tuna and chicken sandwiches. I don't know what they put in them, but I buy one every round on principle.

I give this course 4 1/2 stars due to the value. $40 for 18 holes on great greens isn't bad at all. A few holes could us some attention at the Ts, but they're the ones located in the woods. Brought friends here and they were impressed. Will deff. return. The driving range isn’t the best and the clubhouse is mediocre. The fairways are beautiful and I enjoy the challenge of a course with a lot a hills and valleys. It’s quite a change after playing Florida courses that are all flat flat flat. Try it!!! I think it's the best muni in the DC area.

Amenities: The amenities are adequate if all you require is a place to grab a bottle of gatorade and a snack.Difficulty: This course challenges almost every shot in your bag, but especially your ability to hit to elevated greens.Maintenance: Not bad for a muni course. The day I played it was very wet, so it would not be fair to criticize the turf conditions. The greens should be in good shape this summer.Scenery: It helps to be part mountain goat if you are planning on walking (which I did). Frankly, I recommend taking a cart or you are going to be exhausted by the end of your round. While the scenery is not spectacular, the hills and revines make it an extremely interesting course.Value: The twilight rate is one of the best deals in the area. Still a decent value at full rate.Overall: Now that I have played it, I don't know if I'll be back soon (I want to continue exploring the area). That being said, I would definitely play it again, especially if I lived closer to the course.
