This course has the most potential of any course in this area. But, it is in terrible shape because the ownership has lost interest.

I actually enjoyed this course, which I played on June 26, 2008. On the plus side, it was in relatively decent shape, probably due to the amount of rain we've had recently. It's a wide open layout, so you can't get in too much trouble off the tee. The weeping willows are attractive and distinctive, and the greens are soft (though not exactly pretty). And the price was very low by today's standards. On the down side, the signage is woeful. I know that's an odd complaint, but the sign for the course itself is barely legible - you could easily drive right by the place and not see it (or the course). Even worse, there are no numbered signs on the tee boxes, so it's easy to accidentally play the wrong hole. Be sure to check the map on the back of the scorecard to make sure you're going the right way. There are no real fairways per se, but the lies are generally good and the grass was cut short. The sand traps are hard, as they are at most inexpensive courses, though the recent rains won't have helped. The clubhouse is awful, so you'll want to go there to play only. And the carts aren't covered, so bring your umbrella. That said, I'll be back to play the course again; it's not overly busy and a good score can be had.

I enjoy playing this course once a year. It brings back old memories of what golf used to be like many years ago.The fairways are unkept, the tees are rough, and the greens are slow. There are lots of dandylions and clover in the fairways, really old time stuff. The club house looks like it might fall down and the range is basically a dump for old mowers and machinery. The layout is really good for the area and quite challanging to play. Tha fairways are lined with rows ans rows of weeping willow trees that also look old. All in all the course isn't in very good shape, but I enjoy playing there.
