Pine Grove is family run and cash only! The fairways have little or no irrigation and are the course's big weak spot. This course could be a real gem - but it's value attracts golfers who can't spend a small fortune on a day of golf. I like walking here - much better than some hilly layouts in the area - though the 600+ par 5 17th hole takes your breath away walking up hill - as do several holes on the back 9 - but sitting on the porch of the clubhouse after your round gets your breath back with stunning views of the local mountain range. If you don't mind some scratchy lies and less than perfect dry conditions some summers - you'll more than likely enjoy a complete round here. Seniors play early and this is a good place to get on - on weekends. Just remember - it is "basic muni" condition wise - but the layout has variety and you can score well here.
