I played here yesterday after hearing of the new ownership. I had not played here for 4 years because of the conditions. I was impressed with all the work being done, the course is coming along nicely, the fairways are in great shape, the rough is a little sparse, and the greens are not bad. I was told the greens, fringe and approach's were aerated last week and should be in great shape in a couple of weeks and that the rough had been overseeded. I was told that the bunkers are going to be redone and that a lot of tree's had been taken down to improve light and air to help the greens grow. The people in the pro shop were very friendly and helpful. I had a very pleasant day and i will be back.

After hearing the club is under new Ownership I decided to check it out. The renovations to the buildings are extensive and look to be very nice once fully completed. The golf course is now getting some attention and looks to be in much better condition for the start of the season. The staff are all very pleasent and excited all the work being done. Look for Pembroke CC to be back at the top of the better clubs on the south shore in the next couple seasons. They have a new website www.pembrokegolf.com.
This course has a great design.. but the ownership has no interest in maintaining this course.. Fairways may look like rough.. greens may have bare spots... but it is pretty cheap. They used to have a lot of members.. they have all pretty much left..
