Thanks to the membership and the Massachusetts Golf Association, I was able to play this 1921 Donald Ross golf course. My son is a superintendant, and he would be proud of this courses conditions. The maintenance staff does a tremendous job. I consider holes 4, 14, and 15 the meat of the layout. If you do well on those holes, you can have a great round, although every hole can bit you, if you are on the wrong side of any hole. The elevation views are beautiful. For the men, there aren't many eagle opportunities, as there are only two par 5's. Yet for the ladies, there are 6 par 5's. My daughter is an extremely long hitter, and this track would be a birdie feast for her. I'm sure this wouldn't please Mr. Ross!
