DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. RIP OFF.The locals are truly pathetic at this old smelly wasteland for geezers. In all my years of golf I have never experienced such RUDE EMPLOYEES. The Club "Professional" is part of the problem at this declining dump. I feel sorry for the once proud members who built this course. The current members have ruined a potentially beautiful place. My family from NY and CT meet to play a round of 18 every summer (despite our busy schedules) and this year we unfortunately chose Greenock. After securing a tee time, driving 3 hours to play, and finishing 9 holes, we were told *NOT BY EMPLOYEES, BUT BY FEEBLE ANCIENT MEMBERS, that we could not finish our round and had to leave. WE paid for 18 holes WITH CARTS, and were sent away, BEING THREATENED WITH VIOLENCE BY ONE OLD MEMBER. There was no need for threats of fighting, or a need for these members to overstep their authority, which they have none. We left, and we will be contacting the BBB to register a complaint. If you smell like mothballs and have a temper problem, this is probably the Country Club for you.
