The General Electric Athletic Golf Course is an enjoyable and affordable course located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. The par-36, 3,183-yard nine-hole course is very well maintained and comes with a nice mix of challenges.

The fairways are wide open on most of the holes and many are long enough to use a driver off the tee. The course offers back-to-back par-5s on the fifth and sixth holes with the sixth hole being the longest on the course at 569 yards. One of the more challenging holes on the course is the ninth hole, a long par-4 at 399 yards.

Many of the holes offer great views of the nearby mountains and the mature landscaping allows for very enjoyable scenery. The course also has a nice driving range right on site.

Want tips before you start your round? The PGA teaching pro at the club is very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the staff is quite accommodating and helpful. Check out the tavern while you are at the course. The food is good and affordable.

The cost to play a round the General Electric Athletic Golf Course is around $30, a very good deal in the area. Check it out next time you are in the Berkshires.
