The 18-hole "Sidewinder" course at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort facility in Gold Canyon, Arizona features 6,078 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 130.  Designed by Kenneth M. Kavanaugh, ASGCA, the Sidewinder golf course opened in 1982. Carlo Karim manages the course as the General Manager.

Beautiful example of desert/mountain golf. Played shortly after winter overseeding, the course was in perfect condition. Stunning views on the front nine and challenging shot making on the back make this a very playable and enjoyable course. Well worth the drive from downtown Phoenix!!!!
