Nice enough course layout, fairways were in poor shape greens were better.Speed of play was very bad. I actually saw 8 people playing the same hole in one group.

Reviewed July 07, 2010

The fairways were in horrible shape- rutted from water runoff(drive your cart off path at a snail's pace unless you want your clubs bounced out of the bag), hard as concrete and large barren areas. The greens, however, were fairly decent with challenging pin placements. The back nine is primarily an up-and-back, typical muni layout, but the front nine makes for a more interesting round. Previous entries regarding pace of play and clubhouse personnel can be spot-on or completely inaccurate- just depends on luck of the draw. On a recent late June day, with perfect 82 degree, sunny weather, the course should have been packed, yet despite a 1 PM tee time and playing solo, I played 18 in 3 1/2 hours and didn't have a soul in front of or behind me until the 17th. All in all and having played here roughly a dozen times, keep expectations low and you'll enjoy yourself more.

Grounds weren't the greatest kept, but how much can you expect in March. The course is pretty wide open (good for an early season round!) There's a lot of walkers and pace of play isn't emphasized, so if you're looking for quick round, look elsewhere. It's park course so set your expectations low and you're in for a decent, fun round.
