THE BEST GREENS IN THE AREA! The ball rolled flat and true and the greens were nice and quick. I have a 5 handicap and have played Highland Woods the past 10 years. I have played several courses this spring, and I can say that the greens are the best shape I have ever seen them. The were consistent from hole to hole. Lot's of Water but with straight drives it hardly comes into play. The scenery was nice with plenty of deer and birds. Since we played in the morning we ran into some fairway and tee mowers. All the workers pulled aside as we approached and waited for us to play through before continuing. The greens fee with a cart was $55 on weekends. You can play other cheaper courses in the area, but I am sticking with Highland Woods. Thumbs up to Billy Casper management and the Highland Woods employees.

i shoot in the 90-95 range(for now), i really like this course, the staff is friendly, n for $35 you can't beat it...it has traps n water, enough trouble to get u think about how you want to hit your shot but not toooo many where you're not going to enjoy your round...

This course can seem dry, but they can't really help it since it's supposedly the highest point in cook county. Extra hazard on this golf course... Deer! Lots of deer in the area, great scenery.
