This is a "must" course for any avid golfer. I live in Creston, IA which is only 20 miles from Lenox and would rather play Lenox than the country club or Pine Valley that is located in Creston. The course is usually always in great shape. The fairways are very forgiving and the greens are huge. The greens are where you have to step up your game. Since they are so massive and usually quick they can really wreak havoc on your score. The price is great and the management is usually always friendly. You do have to watch out for the "locals" who definitely need to work on their golf etiquette. They tend not to pay attention to slow play and have a tendency to cut in front of players which can be extremely frustrating. This course is a must play.

Nice course but tough for me because of several blind shot holes. Club house is typical small town Iowa with a friendly atmosphere and adaquate. Not a flat green anywhere that I could find and they are moderately quick. I play it a couple times a year and it is always well maintained.
