This is a flat and boring course. I'm a walker so when it gets in the 90's I play here because you walk and play it will little effort. It is surrounded by busy roads so you never feel like you are getting away from the hustle and bustle. In fact, it usually golf's so slow that usually i leave feeling frustrated but the beginners have to have a course to learn on and that is what you see every time you play there.

Beginner course and believe me there are a lot of beginners on the course. Cost to much for a beginner course. Most groups are families that are teaching their children and/or spouse how to play. A little advise to the teachers: teach golf etiquette, let other groups play through if your slow. Not a bad course if you don't mind taking 6 hours to play a 3 hour course. I've played this course 3 times and will not go back. I suggest Hunter's Ridge, Garner, or Ellis for the Cedar Rapids area. Two other good courses near Cedar Rapids are the Amana Colonies and Brown Deer.
