Since retirement I have played about 25 rounds at BJ in 12 months. If you play M to Th the course is not very crowded and players move at a pace that usually allows for about 41/4 hour rounds.Greens(bermuda?) are very good and role true. The few bunkers are well maintained. Course is fun to play and convenient so an 18 hole round of golf does not take much of the day. Long hitters off the T(250y plus) will find the course easy as course length is in the old club tradition.

The people who run this course were rude to my girlfriend and her female friends. I would not recommend Bobby Jones. Unless you like to be harassed while you play the greatest sport on the planet. Then, this is your place.

Good value and in pretty good shape. Close to downtown. The difficulty is knowing which fairway to drive.
