The 18-hole "Sweetwater" course at the Sweetwater Golf & Country Club facility in Apopka, Florida features 6,771 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Lloyd Clifton, ASGCA, the Sweetwater golf course opened in 1975.

I play this course a couple times a week. As of when I am writing this (Summer 2011), the greens are some of the best conditioned in Central FL - 9/10. The fairways are also a solid 8/10. The layout is very challenging... old school golf. Many fairways are tight and require placement golf. Definitely not a grip it and rip it course.

On the downside, the traps and tee boxes need some improvement.

Overall, a great traditional country club course and well worth the money in my opinion.

Course needs some serious upkeep on the tee boxes and on the greens. Many of the greens are unplayable with sand/fertilizer on them trying to bring them back with no luck. Didn't have an enjoyable experience.
