This course was the worst we have ever played on. It was inexpensive at $35.00. The carts were new so we decided it was $30.00 to rent the cart and $5.00 for the golf and we paid too much for the golf. A truly wasted day when there are so many quality courses in the area. Don't waste your time trying to save a few dollars. This course is just not worth it.

Course was not in good shape. Greens were patchy and varied in speed. The price is right for the course. I played late afternoon and was frustrated because there were 3 groups of 2 in front of us playing slow. Why they weren't combined I don't know. Fun course, fairly open and easy to rebound on.
I play Southridge a lot and I like it: it is, as Deltona says, a golfer's golf club. Conditions depend on when you play the course -- and it gets pretty heavy play, so sometimes, if there's not enough or too much rain, conditions are poor. I play Deland CC some, too, and while I prefer Southridge (especially for the price), Southridge is only about half a star better in maintenance and difficulty, and about that much worse in scenery and amenities. BTW, the picture is not our Southridge.
