Not a bad goat track for the priceNew ownership means they are tackling the expensive upgrades before worrying about making what they have playable. They will probably run out of money before they get to the point where this little course is a pleasure to play.... On the other hand they only charge $8 to walk 9 holes... as long as you're paying cash. The course was NOT crowded. And I played all 9 holes in about an hour & 15 minutes. The course is pretty short. They advise you to play the white tees then the blue tees which they alternate to give you a different experience when you play the same holes again if you want to get in 18. But there is little difference.I played the back tees all the way since I was only playing 9. The main challenge in playing this course is that it can play fairly tight between some of the trees and the water. They added water to the first hole since I played the course several years ago and I though it made the first hole more interesting. The greens are pretty shaggy but not in bad shape. Perhaps they have them long during the winter months.(I played in early March.) The greens are fairly small and don't have much pitch to them. They have 3 par 3's, and one par 5. The water makes you play the par 5 honestly, unless you're really long. The best part of course was the price. This isn't anything like Augusta. But for some exercise (I like to walk and carry my clubs.) and practice not a bad deal.Hopefully they will put in another nine and some work to improve the current layout.
