Buy a lawnmower! And get some Rangers in place who can take some action on the ridiculous slow play.A nice course which was marred by a few issues. No tee times which wouldn't have been a problem had the procedure been explained. What we were told was after we picked up our cart (which we had to wait for after paying in the shop and basically taking a number) we would THEN we would join our place in the queue parked up for the first tee. I even asked the cartman (after waiting some time for the cart) what I needed to do next, and he just said to join the line.Well, I did, and we waited and waited, and a few people passed us, but us and a few other people in carts around us just thought those passing us and being called by name were with some society who had priority over us. Turns out they were regulars jumping the line as all us first-timers were sat there doing as we were told, but only when we got to the FRONT of the line were we told we also had to tell the starter our cart number...in the meantime, all the others jumped on ahead of us. So that wasn't the best way to start our round...a nasty taste in our mouth for the the SLOWEST ROUND EVER. The poor visiting couple ahead of us were joined up with a bunch of local jokers who were just ridiculous, moving as slow as possible, going back to hit balls when they couldn't find theirs and NEVER calling us through despite losing sight of the group in front by the 2nd or third hole. By the time we got to the 9th we asked to go over and play 19 to 27, as otherwise, we never would have got round before sundown. That proved to be a real life saver, as the 9th had a different atmosphere and was in much better shape than the front nine. Greens still a disaster, but the fairways and the rest of it were nice. My partner was particular scathing of the tees which were too wooly and also the strange cutting around the greens which was ridiculously long.Could be a nice course...employees friendly enough, but would be great if they explain how it all works to visitors who are paying a fair whack to play there! On the plus side were all the airplanes (if you like airplanes...I do) and also the biggest alligator I've seen so far on a golf course. Check him out half way down the 7th...Big boy!
Overall a decent course. I would play again. We did the 27 hole layout for only 6 dollars more which was a good deal. A pretty easy course for the most part, very flat. one hole, 17 I think, was very cool and unique. Good course, little high in the price for its condition, but good coursee.
