This golf course is very nice, I played this course on a Saturday and at first the pace of play was slow but that was due to a 80 man tournament that was just finishing up as we arrived. The fairways are amongst the best I've played on. The greens are in great shape for bermuda grass. Not hard, very fast and hold a ball well. This course plays long and tough if you don't keep the ball in the fairways. The rates for a twilight Saturday at this course is unbeatable and worth every penny. The scenery is dull around the course but you don't go to look at scenery, you go to play golf. This course ranks amongst the top 10 on my list.
This course is a must play for North Texas golfers. No GPS, but nice yardage book for purchase. Course layout is fair, but sets a premium on driving the ball b/c missing fairways normally result in lost balls(tall grass just off fairways). Tiered greens require good shot making or you can find yourself in a difficult two putt situation. The value for this course is excellent. If this course was located closer to the Dallas area, green fees would be double. I definitely would recommend to my friends.
All to yourself and very peaceful. Greens are very fast and NOT flat
When you drive in you think you made a mistake but you didn't. What a course! Great conditions and a fun but challenging layout. Sort of a links feel but with elevation changes.Plays long.
