Meadow Gardens Golf Course..

Meadow Gardens is no longer the "Meadow Gardens Golf Center". The old course was completely destroyed with only two holes left to become two driving ranges against the Lougheed Highway... The "New" course was designed and built by Les Furber and Golf Design Services
out of Canmore Alberta in 1992 through 1994 when it re-opened as a Brand new golf course carrying the same name but owned and run by a Japanese company out of Tokyo.. The new course was "raised" about 2 or 3 meters average to deal with some drainage problems and had a number of lakes added to it as well as twice as much land area. The new course had 72 bunkers and water in play on about 11 of 18 holes. The course has changed much over the last ten years or so, some good some not so good, but remains an attractive and challenging golf track. It is my opinion that it could be more playable if it had a set of tees at or under 5000 yds. for the seniors, juniors, ladies, or anyone who would be more comfortable at shorter yardages.. Changes are continuing to take place and it will be interesting to see how the new "Golden Ears Bridge" routing will affect the course.. Meadow Gardens is likely the best golf track in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows area and hopefully it will stay that way..

My Home Course

I live about 20 minutes away from this great course, its beautiful, long, difficult and even if your having a bad round its a great enjoyment. Check this course out if you within a 2 - 3 hour drive you will NOT regret it.
