I live down the street so I play this course pretty frequently and I always have a great time. I usually play early weekend mornings and can finish around between 3.5 to 4 hours. They have some excellent specials for weekdays and weekends and for the money you can''t beat the place. It has a few challenging holes and a relatively nice setup. Definitely would recommend to the average golfer.

I play granite fields once a week during the golf season. Staff is always friendly. You will get a reminder if you venture off from the 90-degree rule. (Which you should.) Can be slow on weekends. Greens are hard and difficult to hold. I do like the course, it makes you think.

Just finished playing a 6hr round of golf here so I had plenty of time to take in the beautiful scenery, and appreciate each hole. Seriously it is a very nice course with some challenging holes and fairly difficult undulating greens with a few devious flag placements at least on the day I went. The incredibly slow play was due to 2 walking 4somes of older gentlemen that the Ranger refused to move along any quicker. He actually went as far to tell my riding 3some to speed things along....as we were pulling up to the next tee with the grp in front of us still waiting to tee off(another riding 3some). For whatever reason he chose to target us and the grp in front of us and on one hole insisted we tee off with the previous grp within range of one of my playing partners who proceeded to drive the ball over them. He then scolded him saying he shouldn't have hit it if he knew he could hit it that far. Remember this is after him --demanding-- we tee off. Sheer craziness from him. I doubt I'll return until next season. Hopefully by then they have a more competent ranger that keeps play moving and doesn't decide to target a grp of younger players while letting his buddies go at the slowest pace I have ever ever played.Course = very nice and very good priceRanger = Insane
