Great Course! As soon as we parked our car, an employee drove a cart out, loaded our carts, and directed us where to go. It was great to have the info since we were new to the area. The course itself was fantastic! All the grass was well maintained. The greens were rolling absolutely perfect. I have played a lot of vacation courses. Lots of great holes! This one ranks up there with the best of them!

Nice course. Played the Carolina Club today with my wife on a mild December late morning. No wind, which I understand was atypical of the area. The staff was friendly -- tip them a couple of bucks and they will spill quite a bit of information about the course.

Their best hole is the 9th hole - a par 5 with a double hit over water. Great hole. Other neat holes were the 7th - a par 3 to an island green and the 18th, a par 5 finish to an elevated green.

The course winds through a residential neighborhood, but the houses really do not come into play. There are 5 sets of tees ranging from 4,800 yards all the way up to 6,900 yards. It is not an overly difficult course, but the greens are tough if you aren't used to quick greens. The greens were very, very fast today and in great shape. It is recommended that you hit the putting green for some practice before you head out there. The course in total was in great shape, especially for December.

Cost today was the winter rate of $45 which included a cart. All in all, a very nice course at a reasonable price.

I played this course a short time ago when it had just downpoured. The range was wet and muddy, but the course was spectacular! I've never enjoyed playing in the wet until here. The greens were fast but forgiving (easy to read) there were some very easy holes on this course but yet holes like numbers 7 (island green) and 9 (Too many water hazards to count) were the toughest I have ever played. This is an awesome course and is highly recommended by me!

Can't beat the $65 twilight rate after 11:30 plus you can get another $10 off if you pick up the local magazines. Course was immaculate but not overly difficult for the rookie. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back with the shovel, rake, and hoe in tow.

Tremendous! Absolutely loved the course and the grass and greens were the best I think I have ever played on. Have the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich at the turn, which I had heard about and the recommendation was spot on. I played here twice during my weeklong stay at the Outer Banks.
