The 18-hole "Classic" course at the Classic Club facility in Palm Desert, California features 7,305 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Classic golf course opened in 2006.
This should be one of my favorite desert courses. But today 02/08/21, they suddenly instituted a policy requiring cart sharing or paying $30 to ride alone. Note that their carts do not have the vinyl clear dividers like Desert Willow, Shadow Hills, etc. So much for social distancing.
The greens were in just perfect conditions when I played in January. Bent grass greens that were just like carpet. They layout is good but not amazing. Overall a very nice experience.
