I am somewhat surprised by the very positive feedback for this course. This is not a typical Nicklaus golf experience. There is no clubhouse, the pro shop is nearly nonexistent, and the course itself is located in a desolate development. More importantly, contrary to the website''s description, the holes on this course are very similar. Many times it felt as if I were replaying the same hole over and over. Also, the course cannot sustain any measurable amount of rain. On the day I showed up to play, I was told the course was closed due to overnight thunderstorms. When I came back the next day, the range was closed and the course was still soggy. Throw in a cart girl who showed up only on the back nine and a lack of a halfway house or any real food service and this was a very disappointing day.

BaySide is a beautiful and difficult course. It tests your game in every aspect. Well placed shots are a must! The course is very well maintained and the staff is great. The lack of a club house and the small pro-shop is the only negative I could find with this course
This is a great golf course. It is maintained very well, and it is absolutely beautiful. Play agressive, but keep the ball in play. The abundance of hazards punishes wild play. The greens are undulating, so get your ball hole high.
