Mansfield National is a good course for the money, especially when using specials (which are often available). On 6.15.2009, the fairways were in great shape, but the greens were relatively slow and bumpy--still recovering from aeration perhaps. The course is very fair with generous fairways, large greens, and playable bunkers. Low-handicappers will score well; high-handicappers will score poorly.

The course is almost defenseless without the wind. The greens were bumpy but overall the course was in great condition.
very good course played in december and the fairways were still very green and the greens were in very good shape
