I am pretty new to golf, but I think most people would agree this is a tough course. There is not a flat lie on it and the greens are tricky. Hotter than hell in the summer time too and not much shade. It''s so hilly that I think a cart is a must although I saw one or two people walking it in 90 degrees plus. There are quite a few outstanding views and the course is maintained pretty well. There were a few too many mudholes for my taste. Lot''s of challenges and good variety of distance between the holes. I had fun but I am glad I had a discount for my birthday because fifty bucks would have made it less fun. The facilities are primitive. The clubhouse is like two double wides latched together, but they are seriously air conditioned. You can still get a sandwich and beer, its just not luxury.

Really dissapointed, this course isn't great. Luckily we only paid 30 dollars a person because they just punched the greens. I'm glad that's all we paid, because it wasn't the best. I should note it was very windy that day, so that kind of hurts this course. At the same time though, i hear the course is windy a lot, so if it's a regular thing, that has to be taken into consideration. The bunkers were really hard, and felt like more sand was needed. If you are a good player, this is a challenging course, but with the wind, it was down right ridiculous. For a "higher end" course, the clubhouse can barely be called a clubhouse. The carts are new, I guess that's a plus. The driving range doesn't have many slots. Overall dissapointed, save your time and potential rattlesnake confrontation.

Overall pretty good experience. The condition of the greens was a little disappointing. They were lightining fast, but also had a lot of areas of disrepair. The general service (marshall, front desk and cart girl was great.) Pretty good pace of play - we got around in about 4.5 hours.
