Beautiful course and very challenging. More difficult that the course rating. If you don't play from the back tees at least climb up to see the views. A few sore spots on the course but overall in fantastic shape. Service and restaurant a bit disappointing in relationship to the rest of the course. Still a must play in the State of New Mexico!

I played this course the first week of April when the course was still coming out of winter hibernation. The fairwaiys had brown spots here and there and things looked a little rough. The driving range however was fantastic as was the practice chipping green. I found the recommended tee box for my handicap to be a stretch. The wind picked up during the round and I had difficulty reaching some of the par fours in two. It is one of the toughest courses I've ever played. You have to be accurate off the tee as well as your approaches or you're going to lose some balls.

If you enjoy a real test of your golf skills coupled with the most beautiful scenery, then Paa Ko Ridge is a must play! Every hole is like playing in a private setting in the mountains with multiple tees for different skill levels. Carts are equipped with gps systems. Although I am a walker, you do not want to walk this course! Too much distance between holes. Beautiful vistas, wildlife, and one of the best maintained courses I have ever played. I often found it hard to stay in my game with all of the beautiful views on each hole. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating, even to a single, walk on golfer (something you don't always find). Afterwards, we had a great lunch in the club restaurant and sat on the clubhouse patio overlooking the beautiful 9th & 18th holes. No wonder Golf Digest gave it five stars!
