Tough course, in great shape. Staff and pro shop very accommodating. Pace of play ws around 4:15 but didn't have to wait much. Only negatives, (i) No cart service during round on Thursday and (ii) other players can be a little oblivious as to loudness on greens adjacent to tees and searching for their shots in other fairways.

Well designed tight course with many challenging holes, many which require precise tee shots. It's been a wet and rainy summer, but the course was in good shape despite all the rain.

Nice challanging track, long second shots on the 4s. Greens rolled and fast. Why do they charge so much for this Muni? Thats why I dont play there much. 2nd hole tee shot has minute landing area. Number 7 is a beast. I also dont need my clubs wiped down after a round by an eager 17yr old with his hand out for a tip, adds insult to injury but I guess you can refuse and feel like a @$!*%.

Nice course and nice scenery, but too pricey for what it is. Even as a municipal course with the local resident discount it costs more to play here than any of the courses out at Bethpage... including the Black (a US Open course) so I obviously can't help but let that influence the perceived value of this course.

Course itself is interesting with a lot of elevation changes. However, I have to question the design a bit... A few holes are a bit too close together without adequate protection from wayward shots (eg green on 14 makes you a sitting duck for anyone who slices their tee shot on 4 and every time I have been here someone came within feet of being seriously injured). Can't see how nobody saw that as a problem area during the course layout.

Maintenance is decent although again considering the price it should be better. Many of the bunkers were simply hardpan with no fluffy sand in sight... yet when you finish they have a bunch of kids lined up to pounce on your bag and rub your clubs down. I keep my own clubs clean... give those kids a rake and get them out there to get the bunkers sorted out.
