Drop off your bag at the bag drop, you cant take the carts into the parking lot.Bring yourself a bottle of water or Gatorade, the first water station is like on the fifth hole. The club house has a pretty good pro shop with an attached grill in the back. The course also has a little four hole kids course for free that is layed out pretty professionally.Bring plenty of balls if you dont hit straight or have never played here before. Lots of hidden water areas that you may run into, and woods are everywhere. The course is very nice, but the greens the day I played were a bit in rough shape (as well as the bunkers). Overall a three and a half for maintenance. The layout is GREAT, this could be a top ranked course if maintenance was kept up better.Every hole has personality, and each green is layed out well, no turtle backs.I liked this course more than I ranked it based on potential, I will be playing here again. I will give them a try again in a few weeks and see if the maintenance has improved any, if so, I will post it here.

Very good value for the Jackson area. This is a tight course that plays about average length. It is typically in nice shape. Very nice for a municipal course.

Be ready to play your entire box of pro v1's. This course is great! Like someone else mentioned, the fair ways are very tight and water comes into play on a bunch of holes. I've play here a couple of times and enjoyed every minute of it. The course is kept in beautiful shape year round, and it even has a 3 hole wee links for the little ones. This is a must on your "To Play List", as a golfer.
