This course is average at best. I don''''t care who owns it now. Bluffton and Hidden Creek are the two most overrated golf courses I have ever played. If you can break 80 stay clear of either one and go play Hawthorne Hills or Colonial Golfers Club. Players like to validate why they play cheap courses, so don''t let their reviews fool you.

According to the owner, Floyd Young, the course will be where he wants it in, at most, three years... the course has so much room for expansion (surrounded by fields) and it is of average difficulty... the course doesn''t look that great now, but give it some time and it will be awesome!

This course has so much potential now since Floyd and Drue Young bought the course. Matt Holtzberry has nothing to do with the course. Floyd also owns Bluffton GC. The prices are incorrect. All prices are the same as Bluffton GC. Within 2 years I predict this will be the premier golf course in the Lima Area. I play this course every chance I get. Amenities: I am not sure what else you would want. They have a kitchen with a good selection of sandwiches and beers, mixed drinks and soft drinks. They sell golf equipment and have generous dining facilities. Difficulty: The overall course is of average difficulty, but there are a couple of holes that can put a real hurt on you. #5 hidden green/#7 to much right/#8 always want to reach in two over the bird sanctuary/#10 lots of water/#13 trees on tee/#16 creek and uphill to green/#18 seems to play longer. Maintenance: Getting better every week. Scenery: Country setting in Ohio. Value: For a very reasonable membership you can play both of the Young's courses, Bluffton and Hidden Creek as it is now known. Value is 5 stars. Overall is 4 stars only because the previous General Manager ran the course into the ground, but in a couple years!!!!!!
