Enjoyed the course and layout. Condition of course was very good! Greens hold and are true.

Overall a very nice course, but there is no way this place belongs anywhere near the top 100 in the country, never mind top 50. Not sure what they are thinking with that ranking on this site. Condition has been pretty good the few times I have played it, but not great. The condition of the traps has almost always been spotty. I'm not talking about waste areas, but greenside bunkers. Very inconsistent and poorly maintained sand. Maybe it's a drainage problem. The scenery takes a hit from the ugly condos surrounding some of the holes. The look like apartment buildings as opposed to something you would find on a nice course like this.Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice course well worth playing, but there is no way it is top 50 in the country. I can think of 5 other courses in the Myrtle Beach area I would rather play, starting at Caledonia across the street.
