Babe Zaharias Golf Course, Tampa, FL

For the money its one of the worst maintained courses in the Tampa area. I would place the value of this course as a starter course for someone that has never played the game. Fairsways are really bad bare in many area's and very hard. Greens are shabby lot of weeds in them. There are to many courses for a better price then this city course and in much better condition.Over priced and terrible shape check out other course for a better deal. City should invest in a better maintenance crew and superintendent.

Not a bad place to play great value the women behind the counters were great and very accomodating they will even loan you a cooler.

very tight fairways and they are not in the best conditions, more dirt than grass in alot of areas, very hard in most spots,greens were in decent shape and rolled pretty good. The course has alot of hilly fairways which was a suprise.The starter seemed to be overwhelmed and unorganzied.We made a tee time online for 2 people and had to wait over an hour for carts to come back in, while others kept getting allowed to go out ahead of us. Not sure how that worked but the tee time was meaningless. Alot of better valued courses in the area that are more properly maintained and not as mis managed.
