Nice track but most holes feature blind greens. Because a course map is not included in the scorecard it makes it tough for first time players. Many courses include suggestions on where to place drives, often on cart on-board gps, and this course could definitely benefit from that. Especially at the price.

No marshals seen. Actually had a guy drive onto our fairway when we were on the tee and hit his shot while we waited. Almost had a couple wrecks around clubhouse. People not watching where they were going.

Greens and fairways in good shape. Course is a winner but needs more attention to service and amenities.

The course is absolutely gorgeous and challenging with many opportunities for long drives. The fairway and greens are very well maintained and the scenic views of Seattle and the surrounding areas are breathtaking. A bag piper began playing at dusk; a really nice touch. We unfortunately played between 2 tournaments and the play was very slow. It took a little over 5 hours to finish 18 holes, well behind the suggested play time of 4.5 hours. The staff were very professional and pleasant. Altogether, a great day although faster play would have made it even better

6-22-10 Was able to sneak a game on this beautiful afternoon. The design and lay-out is fair and relatively challenging but not unreasonable. Many soft spots in the fairway and rought. Green were very receptive. Roll and speed consistent.

Pace of play was good. I enjoy my round (the best in 2010).

Have a good time at NewCastle.
