The 18-hole "Centennial" course at the Centennial Golf Course facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee features 6,633 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Gary Roger Baird, ASGCA, the Centennial golf course opened in 1997.
One of my favorite coureses, can get $25 rounds on the interenet. Greens are typically fast and have a lot of small breaks, front nine is pretty tight, back nine opens up some.
This course will punish wayward tee shots. The people working at the course were excellent. Loved the scenery and design until the start of the back nine which flattened out along the road. My only real beef is with #18. While this hole is pretty and presents a nice challenge for me, I wonder if ladies and high handicappers enjoy trying to carry the 150 yard shot over the ravine on the second (or third) shot to get to the green on a par 4.
