The course rating is 74.9 and it has a slope rating of 133. Designed by Mark McCumber, ASGCA, the Heron Bay golf course opened in 1996. Jamie Kaufman manages the course as the General Manager.

Terrible shape , i dont know how a Honda Classic was played there.

Due to the overabundance of sand it is better known as the Heron Bay "Beach Club". There is water on the course, but it seldom comes into play. When the rough is high one is better of using wedge to get the ball back in play.
