Newer of two munis in Roseville. Its a unique layout which takes time to learn to manage. Several wildlife areas require golfers to think about their layup zones. Course is not well marked, so bring your gps systems. Clubhouse is the star as is the attached sportsbar. Course is wet in the winter time and sand could always be maintained better. Several greens have tierd levels making it important to hit good approach irons. There is variety to the course as lots of oak trees require accuracy on several holes. Some holes are wide open and have water which those unfamiliar with the layout might not see. Course calls for all the clubs. Range is mats with a good putting green. It has its loyal supporters.

Great Value, Great CourseThis course is a great value and the green fees are well below what you would expect for a course of this quality. It is one of two City of Roseville municipal courses, but it is much better than the typical muni. It is long and the holes are varied between wide open and narrow tree-lined fairways, with hills, gullys, water, environmental areas and other hazards to keep you honest. However, the holes are straight forward and not tricky. You will need every club in the bag to do well on this course. Course condition is good, but not great. The clubhouse is the star and is much better than most public courses. I bought my clubs here on a good deal as part of a demo day. Beverage cart services are good and water jugs are available on most holes. While this course is more challenging, I prefer the other town muni which is has the same green fees - Diamond Oaks, which is more mature and has more shade (great in the hot sun). However, I play here more because it is closer to where I live. Pace of play has always been very good.
