A relative had booked a tee time at Wild Marsh as I was in Minnesota for the PGA Championship. I had read the review posted July 19th and was skiddish about playing this course. That reviewer couldn''t have been more wrong! in fact, I found everything opposite to be true! We arrived at the course right at our tee time due to a detour and found the staff very accommodating and patient. During our round the "player''s assistants" were not only courteous, but extremely helpful with advice on a number of holes. We were never rushed and subsiquently enjoyed the pace of playing this fantastic course. The conditions were pristine, the layout challenging (yet very playable for all levels), and scenery outstanding! The clubhouse was well appointed and food very good. I can''t say enough about the staff as everyone we encountered went out of there way to be courteous and helpfull! I look forward to the day I can play there again!

The reason why I am giving a poor review is if you want to enjoy a day on the golf course don''t come here because they try to rush you threw the course, if you fall behind their alotted time frame they will ask you to get off the course. The employees are very rude for a public course, they told my party we were not good enough for their course and told us we should go to a different one. We were not holding anyone up, but apparently the group ahead of us were walking and moving faster threw the course than us with carts. I will not recommend this course to anyone who likes to relax and play golf. How can you have a good game if you are reminded to pick up the pace constantly.
This is simply an outstanding golf course available for public play. This course compares very favorably with the other local high-end public courses and even favorably with many of the semi- private and private courses in the area. The inside staff and the Rangers were courteous and helpful at all times. Having played at a private course in Minneapolis (Interlachen Country Club) for 25 years prior to moving to Florida, we are fortunate in Minnesota to have such fine courses available for open play for the public. I would certainly recommend Wild Marsh because of its beautiful terrain, challenging holes and the overall ambience.Steffen
