The 9-hole "Little Course" at the Golf House Tennessee Learning Center facility in Franklin, Tennessee features 1,246 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Designed by Robert E. Cupp, ASGCA/Tom Kite, the Little Course opened in 1995.
The Little Course has been a place my family and I have gone for years. It is an easy course that is approachable for all ages. What sets the Little course apart from other small golf courses is the overall quality. They really do put alot of effort in to making this course beautiful. It rivals the quality of full 18 golf courses in the area. It is well kept, and the course always looks perfect. There are a few holes that are a bit challenging, particularly hole 4, but its a pretty easy course besides that. The only downfall of the course design is the noticibly flat greens. Putting is rarely a challenge here, as each hole offers little to no incline or decline. They seem to change the placement of the holes every week or so, which helps add a bit of challenge to the putting at least. But, for the price, I cant reccomend the little course enough. It is a great place to pick up the game, as well as a great place to hone your skills.
