I have been frequenting Jim Holloways Trenton Golf Club since 1996, and always marvel at how pristine his greens are. The original owner (Mr. Doug Porter) originally built a 9-hole gem and called it Aircastle Golf Course, and expanded sometime in the late 1990s.

The golf course remains true to its mountain golfing roots. The front side has two incredibly difficult holes (#s 4 and 5) mixed-in with 7 relatively easy tests for the experienced golfer. The back side offers a similar degree of difficulty, challenging low-handicap golfers at #10, 16, and 18, while allowing the beginning golfer the chance to attack two reachable par 5s...

Mr. Holloway is a very personnable owner that is quick to let you know that he is happy to have you visit his establishment. That means the world to his regular patrons. PLEASE make this drive to Trenton Golf Club (easily accessible from Interstates 75, 24, and 59) and enjoy laid-back Southern mountain golf at its finest
