I do not know how someone can rate this as a 4 star course. Its either because they do not golf very often, or they just have not played very nice courses. I am not bashing this course, I am just saying that this course does not in any way, warrant 4 stars. The course gets alot of play, so the maintenance on the course is sketchy at best. Plenty of potholes in the greens and the sand leaves little to be desired, let along raked. Now the acutal layout of the course is challenging and the GPS on the carts are nice, BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE HOLES ON THE GPS MATCH THE ACTUAL COURSE SET UP!! This was not done on the last 2 rounds and this can be very frustrating to golfers. With a little TLC, this course could easily be a 3 to 3 1/2 star course. While it will certainly not rival Quail Hollow or the Palisades, it has the potential, with a little more TLC, to be a fun golf course.

Played at 4:00, payed only $28 to play 18. Course is in great shape, greens a little beat up but in good shape for the amount of play they see. This course is very very tight with some of the thickest rough around the Charlotte area. Plan on hitting a lot of irons/3 woods off the tees, if you hit driver over 250, you will go over the fairway on most holes. Its a fun course to play, but is not for a beginner. GPS computers in the carts are def a bonus, and a great staff.
