I highly recommend that everyone stay away from this golf course.

I recently booked a discount tee time through Golf Now. When the people at the course realized that this was the case, they took on an incredibly aggressive posture. From the from desk to the owner who approached me while I waited for my tee time in the parking lot, everyone was aggressive and threatening.

At one point the owner got within 2 inches of my face while screaming at me.

It may be a wonderful course with great conditions, but if you feel in danger before you even get to the first tee, it’s not worth any discount price.

Thee are many great courses in the area that appreciate your business. Stay away from this one and stay safe!

What a great golf course! I've been going here for almost three years now that I have moved to Clermont, FL. I can always call and play with out a tee time except from late January to first of May (snow bird season) The staff are all oustanding and very helpful. About two years ago new managment took over. Won what a course turn around John has done. He double seeded the fairways the first year. Lost parts of 3, 5, and 10 because of a hurricane, but kept working on those fairways. He has done an outstanding job on all the greens. A few of the greens still need work. The course now is in outstanding shape. Drainage has been greatly improved. There are brand new golf carts with USB plug ins and soon a new club house. With all the work the price of a round has risen but still is a great deal. While here watch for wild life. I have see bobcats, deer, turkeys, Sandhills cranes. I love to support this course beacause of all the work that has been put into it. In three years I have watched three courses close do to lack of maintenance. This is not one of those courses. This is a must try if you are in the area.

This course has a cool concept and a great layout but is not mantained one bit. Teeboxes are destroyed and almost impossible to hit from. The cart paths are either not finished or just dirt. Some holes don't even have a cart path! The greens are also very soft and have lots of obstacles like weeds or holes. There are some cool and challenging par 3's on this course but because of poor mantinence they lack the great potential that they built up. There is no service out on the course so you either have to wait for the slow golfers in front of you or tell them yourselves to hurry up. The only restroom out there is a port a potty off to the left of one of the holes. I also got stuck a few holes because either the cart wouldn't get up a hill or the sand cart path wasn't pressed hard enough. Overall, this course could have great potential but because of lack of mantinence and money this course is a 2 star at best.

Great Layout but poorly Maintained

This course has such possibilities and it is so sad to not see this acknowledged by management. The greens are getting smaller all the time due to disease or what? The bunkers on many holes are so compacted you can not get your club under the ball. It is recongnized that a ski school is on the property but do we have to wait for golf carts running around with skiers in them touring the fairways and over tee boxes? A jogger was using the golf cart path and then running up the fairway. Golfers had to wait and follow the runner down cart path, then others had to wait for the fairway to clear before teeing off. 5 golfers in a group is very common while groups behind are backing up. Courtesy and consideration is not found here! With no marshalls, players must ask others to pick up pace or just pass them out with some unhappy players in both groups. The electric carts are either barely making the round or you get a gas powered one that is backfiring most of the round. Once again such a beautiful location with awesome possible. Management, please do maintenance and take care of your members and guest players. Cheap prices do not make up for the poor conditions and slow play.

This can be a very good course if someone would inject some funds for capital improvements and regular, more meticulous maintenance. The layout is excellent, but lack of maintenance really detracts from its interesting and very challenging test of golf. I get the impression that this course may have been planned to be an upscale resort course, but someone either ran out of money, or stopped caring. Now, it is simply a scruffy, but challenging course with inexpensive green fees.Overall, I liked it, but felt sad that it could have been, and still could be, a great course.

Need to have someone in the clubhouse with a personality. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly. Some good holes and challenges but please clean the clubhouse area up and put some money in the course. It could be very good but no one seems to care.
