Visiting from out of town. I didn’t bring my clubs, as I didn’t expect there to be a golf course in this small town. I called ahead and asked if there were any clubs I could rent, I was told yes, only to arrive two days later and be refused clubs. The excuse I was given was “ all the clubs for rentals had been taken home” apparently over night. To add insult to injury, as I walked out I saw a few irons wedges and a 3 wood in the corner that looked like it could have been offered, but wasn’t. Idk what the issue was, and I don’t want to make it a race issue but as a black man you have to wonder.
very well groomed course. much better than last year with new ownership.
