5 hours and 49 minutes. That's how long it took to complete our round on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Horrible management of the course on that day. 10:04 tee time, first ball struck at 10:40. Round finished at 4:29 pm. Last time I will play there. Horrible management of the course flow. Completely terrrible experience. Management would not offer any concessions. Their attitude was - "We got your money, we don't care if you don't like the pace of play".

Likely one of the best tests of golf on Hilton Head Island. Played from the tips represents all that you could want in the way of a challenge. Although fairways generous, drives into the Bermuda rough presents with difficult second shots. greens are huge with great putting surfaces & roll quite true. No views of the ocean but plenty of carries over marshland. Several blind shots including to the first par 3 green - completely obscured from tee by marshland.A tremendous course.Nice range. Staff always very helpful.
